The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms is a sci-fi horror film released in 1953. It tells the story of a prehistoric dinosaur, called Rhedosaurus, that is awakened from its frozen slumber by an atomic bomb test in the Arctic Circle. The creature then makes its way to New York City, terrorizing the population and causing destruction along the way. It is up to a paleontologist and a sharpshooter to stop the creature before it destroys the city.
