Cinderella is a young woman who lives a life of servitude under her stepmother and stepsisters. With the help of her fairy godmother, she is magically transformed and attends the royal ball, where she captures the heart of the prince. However, her magical transformation expires at midnight, leading to a race against time to return home before she reverts back to her ordinary life.
Annabelle Serpentine Dance (1895) is a short documentary film showcasing a female dancer's captivating dance routine. Shot in single-camera style, the film highlights the grace and skill of the dancer as she performs intricate dance moves, including leg kicks and hand movements. L. Frank Baum would appear in a white suit and present his live actors, slide shows and films as a live travelogue presentation of his popular fantasies. Highlights include Dorothy being swept to Oz in various ways, such as with back-projection tornadoes and storms in a chicken coop. Lack of financial backing forced the show to fold after appearing in only two cities, despite being a critical and commercial success. This film is lost.
