The stooges are auto mechanics who need money so they can marry their girls. When some escaped convicts pull into their garage, the boys manage to capture them and use the reward money to marry their sweethearts. It appears to be an early attempt at 3D with the closeups and effects used.

Popeye's training for his boxing match with Bluto by jumping rope with a massive chain. Bluto, who's lazy about everything except sabotage, decides he needs to stop Popeye.

While travelling along a woodland highway, Woody's car runs out of gas. He intends to get some more by siphoning some from a nearby car, not realizing the car belongs to policeman Wally Walrus who immediately chases the bird. Woody temporarily eludes Wally by disguising himself as a gas station attendant who fills Wally's car to the brim with water! When Woody's disguise is uncovered, the two duel with grease guns.

Poodles loses a job working at a car dealer so he gets a job working for the Hardly Able Cab Company. How he got from driving a cab to fighting with a horse is an odd and contrived situation, though the horse appears to be his co-star from CIRCUS DAZE.
