After the death of her husband, a woman architect moves to Los Angeles to start a new life. She adopts a young girl who has an invisible friend. As strange occurrences happen in their new home, the woman seeks help from a child psychologist to uncover the truth behind her daughter's imaginary friend.

Prior to her confirmation, Ingrid will be given a bunad (a traditional costume in Norway) by her grandparents. It will be a unique piece of clothing, made by bunad experts from around the country. Even the queen herself will be contributing to the making of the bunad.
