In Tight Spot, a model is compelled to become a witness in a murder trial against a dangerous mobster. As she stays in a women's prison, awaiting the trial, she finds herself in a dangerous situation, caught between the mobster's henchmen and corrupt officials who want to silence her. With the help of a dedicated detective, she must navigate the treacherous world of courtroom drama and assassination attempts to seek justice.

In this action-packed comedy, a group of police officers from the Brigade Miscellaneous are assigned to solve a series of petty crimes which take them from the mountains to the Black Sea. Along the way, they encounter a con man, a foreign criminal, and even a nun. With car chases, robberies, and prison escapes, this hilarious farce showcases the social misfits and scoundrels of Romanian society in the 1970s.
