In the late 19th century United States, a teenage boy named Will is accidentally shot while hiding in a barn. He is nursed back to health by a criminal named Harry and his friend, Matt. The three friends form a bond and decide to become outlaws. They rob a bank vault and go on the run, with a posse chasing after them. Along their journey, they encounter various obstacles and adventures, including being held at gunpoint, dragged behind a horse, and getting involved in a saloon fight. Eventually, they reach Mexico and plan a bank robbery. Will gets injured during a shootout, but they manage to escape. The movie ends with the trio stealing a pocket watch and riding off into the sunset.
