Sam Witwicky leaves the Autobots behind for a normal life. But when his mind is filled with cryptic symbols, the Decepticons target him and he is dragged back into the Transformers' war. In a battle to save Earth, Sam must decipher the symbols and locate the Matrix of Leadership to stop the Decepticons from activating the Sun Harvester and seeking revenge.

An ancient struggle between two Cybertronian races, the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons, comes to Earth. The Autobots seek to protect humanity and find the AllSpark, a cube that grants independent life to objects. The Decepticons, led by Megatron, seek to use the AllSpark for their own destructive purposes. With the help of teenager Sam Witwicky, the Autobots must battle the Decepticons and prevent them from obtaining the ultimate power.
