Rambo reluctantly agrees and parachutes into the Vietnamese jungle with minimal equipment. He meets a native girl, Co-Bao, and together they navigate the dangers of the jungle to rescue the POWs. Rambo faces betrayal, torture, and intense battles, but ultimately succeeds in his mission and escapes with the POWs. In the end, he confronts Murdock and demands that the remaining POWs be rescued. Rambo walks away, seeking to live his life day by day.
