The Young Savages follows a group of young boys from different ethnic backgrounds who form a street gang and get involved in a murder trial. The movie delves into themes of racism, class differences, and the challenges faced by the district attorney. It is based on a novel and takes place in 1960s Harlem, Manhattan, New York City.
