After a botched bank robbery lands his younger brother in prison, Connie Nikas embarks on a twisted odyssey through New York City's underworld to get his brother Nick out of jail. Connie robs a bank, but things go wrong when a dye pack explodes, causing their getaway car to crash. Nick is arrested while Connie escapes. Connie tries to secure bail money and breaks Nick out of the hospital, unaware that he has released the wrong person. Together with the mistaken accomplice, they search for a hidden stash of drugs to sell and raise the bail money. However, things take a tragic turn as they encounter police and face the consequences of their actions.

Two fledgling criminals kidnap a pizza delivery guy, strap a bomb to his chest, and inform him that he has mere hours to rob a bank or else. Nick enlists the help of his friend Chet to figure out a way to disarm the bomb or rob the bank and save his life. As they plan their heist, they encounter various obstacles and comedic situations.
