The plot revolves around the Dover boys, Tom, Dick, and Larry, as they try to rescue their fiancee, Dora Standpipe, from the clutches of Dan Backslide. Dan kidnaps Dora and takes her to his hideout in Roquefort Hall. The Dover boys, with the help of their faithful moose, try to outsmart Dan and save Dora. Along the way, they face various obstacles and challenges, but their determination and bravery prevail.
The monkey gland operation is about to be performed upon Snub. A flash-back shows how the lack of pep has affected his spirits. While under ether he dreams that he has become an ape and is forced to swing upon the chandeliers and walk up the sides of the buildings. He wakes up just before the operation is performed and takes the chance to beat it out of the hospital. The horror of the dream gives him more pep than monkey glands.
Jimmie Adams leads the cast, along with Lorraine MacLean and Billy Engle, in this Al Christie production.
