When a research team in the Arctic is attacked by giant worms known as graboids, they must fight to survive and prevent the creatures from escaping into the world. As they struggle against the deadly creatures and the harsh Arctic conditions, they must also confront personal and familial challenges, including a strained father-son relationship. With time running out, the team must find a way to stop the graboids before they wreak havoc on the world.

Cyclone Bill is the popular sheriff of Mustang Gulch, where "a gun in the hand is worth two on the hip." Bill keeps the town free of criminals, and is also in love with the mayor's daughter. But when Yukon Jake brings his gang to town, causing trouble and kidnapping Bill's girl, it looks as if Bill might have more trouble than he can handle.
