Pluto's Purchase follows Pluto as he tries to get rid of a troublesome flea that has invaded his home. Chaos ensues as Pluto tries different methods to catch the flea, leading to hilarious and mischievous situations.
Bosko is a doughboy in the Great War.
Bosko, carrying his hobo stick, travels along the railroad tracks with his dog, Bruno. Unfortunately, they're both on the tracks as they cross a bridge and realize that a train is coming perilously near. They manage to escape via a handcar, which was waiting for them on the tracks. however, once over the bridge, Bruno gets his foot caught near the switch. Bruno escapes, but not before allowing his poor master to think he's dead. Bosko is angry at his pet, but outrage turns to fear when the sound of another train gets them both panicking again. Luckily, the "train whistle" is only the mooing of a cow. The pair's adventures continue as they try to steal a chicken for her eggs. Finally, they end up on a runaway boxcar and have a second encounter with the obnoxious cow.

Willie Whopper and his dog visit Hell, where they meet Satan, Cerberus, and some of the infamous members of the damned.
First, a bum comes along and steals their hat and replaces it with his flea-bitten one. Later, they are tormented at a diner when a hamburger comes to life! Later, after selling their instruments so they can get something to eat, they see a blind man begging on the street.
Mighty Angelo the Flea takes a vacation on a dog in the country. The muscular insect becomes the little mutt's protector when he is bullied by Butcher the bulldog.
It's basically a series of visual gags that takes place on a greyhound race track with the racers chasing a mechanical rabbit attached to a gate (though the rabbit seems lifelike, at least for a cartoon).
