In 1934, former Texas Ranger Frank Hamer is hired to track down the notorious criminals Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. With the help of his former partner Ben Maney Gault, Hamer embarks on a manhunt after the fugitive gang is involved in a shootout. Using wiretapped information and the knowledge that the criminals are returning 'home' to Dallas, Hamer and Gault set out to capture Bonnie and Clyde. The pursuit leads them through several states, including Kansas and Oklahoma, and they eventually succeed in ambush. The story concludes with the aftermath of their capture. The Highwaymen is a gripping drama based on a true story.
