In the year 1932, a real estate agent finds himself caught up in a bootlegging operation led by a notorious gangster. As he navigates the dangerous world of illegal alcohol, he must also navigate the complexities of high society and class differences. With the presidential election looming, he becomes entangled in a web of deceit and swindle, all while trying to protect himself and those he cares about.
