Everyone lives in the Green Zone, a secured area on the Isle of Dogs in London. Don manages one of the apartment buildings in the zone. Tammy and Andy decide to sneak out into London and visit their old home to retrieve personal items. There, Andy discovers Alice in the attic, delirious but alive. The NATO soldiers take Alice back to the Green Zone. Scarlet, an Army medical officer, discovers that Alice is a carrier of the virus. She orders Alice's execution, but Don, infected with the virus, kills Alice and escapes into the Green Zone. Realizing that Alice's children might hold the secret to curing the virus, Scarlet rescues Tammy and Andy. The Army herds the residents of the Green Zone into safe rooms, but Don attacks the crowd and spreads the virus. Andy escapes through an air vent. Scarlett and Tammy make it into a storehouse with a few others and plan to escape the city with the help of a friendly helicopter pilot. They make it to a park and rest, then continue their journey to Wembley Stadium, where they will meet the pilot and fly to safety. They dodge the infected and soldiers killing the infected, until they are separated on the way to the stadium. Don appears and kills Scarlet, but Tammy shoots him and saves Andy. The children meet the pilot, who flies them across the English Channel to safety. However, the virus has now been transported off the British island, posing a new threat to humanity.

An American envoy, George Washington Williams, reveals to him suspicions of the Congolese population being enslaved by the Belgians. Tarzan's wife Jane convinces him to accept the invitation, as she grew up in Africa. Tarzan, Jane, and Williams travel to the Congo and encounter a tribal village that recognizes them. Rom and his mercenaries attack the village, kidnapping Tarzan and Jane. Williams rescues Tarzan, and with the help of the tribe's warriors, they pursue Rom. Along the way, they intercept a Belgian military train carrying captured slaves and uncover King Leopold's plans to subdue the Congo and mine its wealth. Tarzan reconciles with the leader of his old tribe, battles Mbonga and his tribe, and saves Jane from Rom. They trigger a stampede of wildebeest to destroy a town and distract the soldiers, allowing Tarzan to rescue Jane and defeat Rom. Williams presents evidence exposing the slave trade in the Congo, and Tarzan and Jane settle in Africa.
