Flodder is a Dutch movie about the eccentric Flodder family who moves into a wealthy neighborhood, causing chaos and clashing with their snobby neighbors. The family's crude humor, alcohol abuse, and outrageous behavior create a series of hilarious situations. As they navigate class differences, inheritance schemes, and blackmail, the Flodders manage to turn their new neighborhood upside down in a comedic fashion.
Lily, an American travelling on the famous Orient Express train from Venice, Italy to Paris, France, suddenly runs into her former lover, Alex, who met and had a tender romance ten years earlier while vacationing in France, which ended abruptly when he walked out on her without saying a word. Now Alex tries to make up for lost time with Lily while she digs into his past to find out what haunting secrets that he has which led to their abrupt break-up.
Willi Schulze is a car mechanic. Together with Paul, who escaped from an orphanage, he runs a garage. During the testing of a car, Willi finds out the brakes aren't working that good. A fatal accident can just be prevented. He tries to hitchhike home and gets picked up by American election expert Willy Schneider. Together they also get an accident and both lose their memory. The police assumes Schulze is the election expert and rapidly he turns into the pivot in a stone-hard election-contest.
