In Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One, Gotham City is plagued by a serial killer who strikes on holidays. Batman, along with his allies Commissioner Gordon and Catwoman, must unravel the mystery and stop the killer before more lives are lost.

Batman: Year One follows the early career of Bruce Wayne as he becomes the masked vigilante, Batman. As he learns the ropes of crime-fighting in Gotham City, he must also navigate the corrupt police force and the dangerous mobsters who run the city. With the help of his loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth and the skilled cat burglar Selina Kyle, Batman fights for justice and takes on the powerful crime bosses that plague the city.
