A woman works to exonerate her brother, who was convicted of murder, by uncovering the truth behind a haunted antique mirror. As they investigate, they learn that the mirror possesses a malevolent entity that feeds off life forces and manipulates reality. With a kill switch set up to destroy the mirror, they must confront their traumatic past and face the supernatural forces at play.

Kyoko Mochizuki is an 18-year-old girl who dreams of becoming a police dog trainer. She is admitted to a police dog training school and meets a young Kinako, a Labrador retriever puppy. An instructor there informs Kyoko that Kinako is too weak to become a police dog, but Kyoko is determined that she will make Kinako into one.
