As a man ages, he refuses assistance from his daughter and begins to doubt his loved ones and the fabric of reality. With dementia, he constantly forgets important things and becomes increasingly confused. His daughter plans to move to Paris, leading to further confusion. He believes he lives in his own flat, but in reality, he has been living with his daughter, her partner, and a caretaker. As his condition worsens, he ends up in a nursing home and experiences emotional breakdowns.

In 'Royal Cat Nap,' Tom the cat character tries his best to be quiet and steal some cheese in a castle without waking up Jerry the mouse character. He goes to great lengths, breaking dishes, locking doors, and walking on tiptoe. Tom even tries to use earplugs and a lullaby to put Jerry to sleep. However, his attempts are foiled when he steps on a tack and gets stabbed in the nose and butt, causing him to scream in pain. The noise wakes up Jerry, who then starts singing and playing the violin, causing chaos in the castle. Tom desperately tries to catch Jerry while avoiding the castle guard and various traps. Eventually, the two characters engage in a sword fight, but Jerry uses his elongating arm to outsmart Tom and hilariously defeat him. The movie ends with Tom turning blue and defeated.
