How to Get Ahead in Advertising follows the story of an advertising executive who experiences a nervous breakdown while trying to come up with a new marketing strategy. As he becomes more and more stressed, he develops a boil on his shoulder that eventually grows into a second head. The second head takes over his body and begins to possess him, leading him into a surreal and absurd journey. Through this bizarre journey, the movie satirizes consumerism, advertising, and the pressures of modern life.
