The Dentist 2 (1998) is a dark comedy about a deeply disturbed dentist who is an escaped psychiatric patient from a mental asylum. He goes on a bloody and torturous rampage, using his dental tools to extract revenge on those he believes have wronged him. As he spirals further into insanity, the dentist's malpractice causes fear and suspicion among his victims and those around him.

In the midst of his mundane life, a loner sound engineer becomes obsessed with finding a missing girl. As he follows clues and eavesdrops on conversations, he uncovers a web of secrets and deception. With his sarcastic tone and quirky personality, he navigates through a neighborhood filled with suspicious characters, including a cheating wife, a jealous husband, and a homeless man. Along the way, he encounters a redheaded woman who holds the key to the mystery. Will he be able to solve the case or will his obsession lead him astray?
