Mike Lane, a male stripper, takes Adam under his wing to teach him the art of stripping, partying, and making money. Along the way, Mike finds himself attracted to Adam's sister Brooke and dreams of opening a custom furniture business. However, Adam falls into a destructive lifestyle of drugs and risky behavior. Mike realizes he must stay in the stripping business to pay his bills, but eventually decides to leave it behind for a chance at a real relationship with Brooke.

Harry and his son face challenges as they navigate through their different lifestyles and cope with the death of the protagonist. Their relationship is tested as they confront issues such as father-daughter estrangement, premarital sex, and the father's aspirations as a writer.
