In 17th-century France, Astrea, a nymph, and Celadon, a shepherd, swear an oath of fidelity. When Celadon is mistaken for dead, Astrea enters a druid sanctuary to mourn him. Meanwhile, Celadon disguises himself as a woman to be near Astrea. The two navigate gender confusion and disguise, with song and wind as key motifs. Will their love survive in the midst of mistaken identities and presumed infidelity?
