The Care Bears, a group of lovable teddy bear-like creatures, live in a magical world called Care-a-Lot. They travel to Earth to help children and spread love and kindness. Each Care Bear has its own special power and symbol on its belly. Together, they work to defeat the evil forces of Dark Heart, Professor Coldheart, and other villains.

Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-lot is an animated television series by SD Entertainment, Cookie Jar Entertainment and Shari Lewis Enterprises that premiered on CBS's KEWLopolis line-up from September 15, 2007 to December 6, 2008, and is designed to be an immediate follow up to the movie Care Bears: Oopsy Does It!. It was the third Care Bears television series made and was produced by Sabella Dern Entertainment, the same company that made Care Bears: Oopsy Does It!. It features songs with music by Andy Street and lyrics by Judy Rothman. Along with the other shows in the KEWLopolis block, this series fulfills the federal "E/I" requirements.

The Care Bears must rescue their friend from the clutches of an evil wizard in a magical land.

Three children embark on a fantastical adventure as they sail through a dreamy world filled with anthropomorphic stars and clouds. They encounter surreal landscapes and encounter a storm before waking up to realize it was all a dream.

Little Lulu, torn between playing hookey and going fishing, or going to school, chooses to go fishing...where she encounters the Fish from Cartoon Hades.
