When a veteran New York City police detective's daughter is murdered while on her honeymoon in London, he travels to Europe to find the killer. While investigating, he receives postcards with clues about the murders, leading him on a suspenseful chase to unravel the mystery.
In Los Angeles, photographer Peter Mitchell learns that he has inherited a palatial estate in Sweden from his unknown relative, Annie Holst.
