In 1920, during the British Raj, administrator Scott Buxton and his wife Catherine abduct Malli, a young girl from the Gond tribe. Komaram Bheem, the tribe's guardian, disguises himself as a Muslim man named Akhtar and embarks on a journey to rescue her. A.Rama Raju, an officer in the Indian Imperial Police, and Bheem unite to save a boy from a train wreck, sparking a friendship between the two. As they grow close, they uncover Scott's intention to kill Malli. Raju, torn between his loyalty to the police and his pro-nationalistic background, seeks to save his friend and rectify his own actions. Together, they defy the colonial authorities, ignite a rebellion, and execute Scott. In the end, Bheem asks Raju to provide education to him and his community.
