Martín is a 13-year-old orphan shoeshine boy from La Paz, Bolivia, who has lived his entire life in the streets with the hope and desire to find his father. Driven by this desire and his imagination, Martin begins to suspect that one of his best clients is his father; Mr Novoa, a lonely tailor whose only emotional bond is his dog, Astor, a fine German shepherd whom he cares for like a son.

Public bath, apartments, supermarkets and cockroachs, that is the routine of Guido, a lonely and introverted young man who works fumigating for a cleaning company. His work is detoxify, however is one of the many intoxicated in the world he is immersed in. The strong presence of his mother, who he still lives with, the arrival of a first love, and the insistence of his colleagues for integrating him on their hanging out, will make him dive in a perturbing trip that will show up his sight of life.

Martin celebrates his fourteenth birthday with his shoeshine friends. Between superstitions and a land that comes to life, their bodies will only be flesh under a few light flashes.
