In 1920, during the British Raj, administrator Scott Buxton and his wife Catherine abduct Malli, a young girl from the Gond tribe. Komaram Bheem, the tribe's guardian, disguises himself as a Muslim man named Akhtar and embarks on a journey to rescue her.
