The Threepenny Opera is a satirical musical comedy-drama set in poverty-stricken London. It follows the story of a thief named Macheath, who becomes involved in a series of criminal activities. The plot revolves around Macheath's relationships with his daughter, the police chief, and the bank owner, as well as his interactions with the beggar clan and a brothel.
