Shuruaat Ka Interval is a collection of seven short films curated by filmmakers Rajat Kapoor, Rajshree Ojha, and eight others. Each film explores a different aspect of life, ranging from love and relationships to hopes and dreams. The stories are relatable and thought-provoking, making the audience reflect on their own lives.

In a uranium mining area of Jharkhand, India, a Santali couple copes with the loss of their daughter. The grieving couple express themselves largely through song and ritual, blurring the boundaries between personal pain and communal trauma. Tortoise Under The Earth is a poetic elegy to a world that is rapidly disappearing, subsumed by unchecked development and displacement.

When you are married for 50 years you look back on life rather than look forward to it. However when this couple with an empty nest have a desire to see their grand daughter it sparks new life into their daily routine.
