Story of a strong-willed man, Nahapet, who lost his family during the 1915 Genocide is an eternal story of resurrection.

Armenia in the Middle Ages ... the desert ... the bell-tower of a half-destroyed church ... Martiros languishes in the desert. His heart strikes out beyond the narrow monastic circle.

Follows the turbulent times of the beginning of the century, when Europe and Russia were literally filled with revolutionary moods. Against this backdrop, a love story unfolds. The intelligentsia absorbs the ideas of love of freedom and itself suffers from it. But while romance hovers in everything, feelings remain heightened.

The action of the film takes place in a children's colony, where a film is being shot. In the colony, director Manvel Simonyan gets to know the minor prisoner Hovhannes Darbinyan, who was sentenced to prison for stabbing her lover while trying to protect his mother. The director takes upon himself the burden of releasing a juvenile prisoner before the deadline.
