The fifth incarnation of 'The Sooty Show' sees Richard, Sooty, Sweep and Soo start a new job as handymen at a seaside holiday park.
Third incarnation of the Sooty show formula which follows almost directly on from the previous show 'Sooty and Co'. The puppets with Richard Cadell and Liana Bridges decide to leave the 'Sooty and Co.' shop and open a grand seaside hotel.
'Sooty' is the forth incarnation of 'The Sooty Show' and a revamp of the format of 'Sooty Heights', The gang are still running their hotel, but now the human characters have been almost completely phased out and the focus is on the puppets.
Richard takes Sooty, Sweep and Soo to the seaside. Once there, they enter a talent show, help out on Mo's doughnut stall and ride the roller coaster, whilst being chased by a security guard! In true Sooty style, nothing goes according to plan in this feature length special!

Richard Cadell
Richard Cadell is an illusionist, puppeteer and screenwriter, best known for being the in vision presenter and the hand of puppet Sooty since succeeding Matthew Corbett in 1998 He is a Gold Star Member of the Inner Magic Circle and Past President of the British section of International Brotherhood of Magicians. He used to own Brean Leisure Park in the coastal village of Brean in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset from 2002 -2014. and also works as a consultant for TV and stage productions. He is dating upcoming UK drag queen Aurora B who hopes to take over the drag circuit in 2020. In June 2008 (Sooty's 60th Anniversary), Richard together with his brother David reportedly paid close to 1 million for the global rights for the Sooty brand through their new company, Cadells Ltd. As well as annually touring with live shows, Cadell is credited as the co writer and Executive Producer of the Sooty television series which is currently transmitted daily on ITVBe. Cadell’s involvement with Sooty began with a guest appearance on a Christmas episode of The Sooty Show in 1985; then, in the last series of Sooty & Co., he and Liana Bridges joined the cast as employees of the titular store.
