When a team of scientists and military personnel arrive on an island, they discover that it is infested with deadly ants. As the ants begin to attack and kill, the survivors must find a way to escape and defeat the swarm.

Rainbow has just moved to an international school in Phuket, in Southern Thailand. She blames it on a mysterious phone number 999-9999 a number reputed to grant whoever calls it, one wish.

Mona's mother died, seemingly from spontaneous human combustion. She became acquainted with a nurse named Ploy, whose mother also died from the same cause. The two women embark on a quest to find out the truths about their mothers' death with the aid of an ambitious news reporter.
