Mobile Suit Gundam II: Soldiers of Sorrow is a 1981 movie that follows a teenage boy who becomes a pilot of a giant robot called Gundam during a fictional war in outer space. As he fights against enemy forces and faces the harsh realities of war, he must also come to terms with his own identity and the role he plays in the conflict.
