Half Ticket tells the story of a young boy living in the slums of Mumbai who dreams of escaping his impoverished life. Along with his friends, he comes up with a scheme to earn money and fulfill his desire for a life beyond poverty. The film explores themes of family, friendship, and the struggles faced by those living in poverty.

Rajan is an active member of a famous Dahi Handi group. He and Shravani are in love with each other. Shravani wants him to concentrate on his career first but he is too obsessed with the festival of Dahi Handi and spends most of his time on its prepartaion with friends. One day Rajan falls off the human pyramid and it changes their lives forever.

Based in a small village, Fandi revolves around the otherwise routine life of the villagers which is suddenly transformed after an incident there. The said incident turns the village in a hot-spot of political and news activity.
