L'Gros Show is a Canadian situation comedy/mockumentary television series which is broadcast on the Canadian French language music television station Musique Plus. The show stars Mike Ward as Chabot, a comedy character he had previously developed in 2000, and Martin Perizzolo as his friend Poudy. Chabot and Poudy are very much stuck in the 1980s, an obsession which is evidenced by their hairstyles and clothes. Both live in Poudy's mother's basement, where they spend their time playing air guitar and drinking. Part of the show is shot in black-and-white in a mock documentary style.

By the summer of his 19th birthday, Charlie Hall, champion wakeboarder, doesn’t know if he’ll ever get back on a wakeboard following an injury. When he flees his anguish and uncertainty by going to his cousin Noah’s house in the town of Chambly, he meets Juliette, a young employee of the local marina. The chemistry clicks and the two youngsters develop a unique relationship that only has as obstacles the fear of their ambitions.
The film was shot over 12 days through 5 countries: Switzerland , Spain , Germany, the Netherlands and France. The documentary presents Mike Ward on holiday , following his tour presentation. Between each major tour , he likes to leave the country and go see if he's still funny in the eyes of an unknown audience. In these times, Mike Ward returns to the sources of hard- up stand. This humorous documentary flavor pervades the adventures experienced by Mike Ward ; the time he has performed in French to an audience that did not know and for whom French was the second language. The one time Mike Ward learned a few minutes before going on stage that the show was held in Dutch and he was the only one to speak English. The documentary also shows Mike Ward perform brilliantly in every city, even has the beginnings of a dog show and much more.
