A group of kids, living a small town, make a football team and go to a football tournament.
Thirteen-year-old Mila Malinov wakes up alone in the back of a cab. Arriving at the densely packed apartment block of zone 21, she makes her way to her room as the watchful eye of the global government hovers above in the form of monitor drones. Across the courtyard, another set of eyes watches her, a protective Mother. Her room is small, cubed, and very simplistic. In her ear, a voice keeps her company. Her father, Darko Malinov checks in. He speaks to her through an earpiece making sure she’s okay. The next day, Mila visits the local bartering station that’s at the end of the long alley that hugs her apartment block. Currency in this world has resorted back to bartering, swapping items for other items. Mila finds a group of interested buyers and swaps a capacitor for some food, all while her father guides her. That night, she shares a meal with her father via voice, wishing that he was there instead. As Mila sleeps, a figure sneaks up to her door making Mila nervous.
The Tesla Case is a contemporary story about Tony and Raya, already turned 12, who remained good friends after their misadventures in The Curie Case movie. Aspiring young inventor Tony is working on a wireless electricity device inspired by the eccentric genius Nikola Tesla. Tony is a firm believer that his discovery would solve the global energy crisis. To his utter disappointment, he is forced to go to a summer camp with his classmates. Tony invites his dear friend and neighbor Raya who, being left all alone by her ever-traveling parents, gladly welcomes his proposal. Surviving nature won't be the only hurdle that Tony needs to overcome. Local scouts' leader Victor, who is jealous of Tony, decides to ruin his scientific attempts and win Raya's affection, while she unravels the secret of the mystery werewolf roaming the nearby forest.
Tony is a studious kid who loves science and dreams of becoming a great scientist one day. His bedroom looks like a laboratory and he has deliberately named his lab mouse after Marie Curie, who developed the theory of radioactivity. Although he is just eight years old, Tony will participate in the National Science Fair with his own experiment. His neighbor Raya, who is also eight, is a student at the School of Dance and is rather naughty and mischievous. She often disturbs Tony and interrupts his concentration and his lab experiments, and she is a friend of Stefan, a bully who is several years older than her. Raya wants to help Stefan pass his math test, but Tony refuses to cooperate, and as a result of that Marie Curie is kidnapped. To get her back, Tony has to face new challenges. The annual ballet production at the school is ruined and fails gloriously, however, a new friendship blossoms.
