Kept and Dreamless tells the story of a dysfunctional family in Argentina, focusing on a mother and her two twin daughters. The film explores themes of drug addiction, unemployment, and the challenges of single motherhood. It starts like this: a beach, a cliff, a pine tree forest, and a house made of stone. In the house, Virginia wakes up startled by a nightmare, and in the nightmare we can see her cousin Anabel with a deathly pale face and traces of blood around her lips.

In the missionary jungle, Ismael Guzmán, a seasoned park ranger, patrols the reserve daily in search of poachers. Orlando Venneck is a beloved settler in the area and, like his ancestors, he is a hunter. Sara Voguel, a committed rural doctor, is married to Guzmán and used to be Venneck’s fiancee. Both venerate the mountain in their own way, but a jaguar appears and this generates a confrontation between them. Behind the tourist postcard of the park hides a world besieged by passions, conflicts of interest and fights. The spiral of violence will become inevitable and blood will flow.

With the Peronist government overthrown, with General Perón in exile and the Liberating Revolution in power, four renowned Peronist leaders are confined in the distant and cold Unit 15 of the Río Gallegos prison. Faced with the imminent execution to which the political prisoners will be assigned, they decide that the only option to survive is escape. Leaving aside their personal and ideological differences, they plan one of the most spectacular escapes in Argentine history.
