In 1984, a group of Icelandic fishermen embark on a fishing trip in treacherous waters. Their boat capsizes, leaving them stranded in the freezing ocean. As they fight for survival, they face various challenges including a volcanic eruption, hypothermia, and limited resources. Inspired by a true story, 'The Deep' portrays the harrowing struggle of these men to stay alive against all odds.
