It’s a journey of two individuals who set out on a travel to explore life & relationship in a different perspective.

“Darkness of Summer” depicts the rich ethnographic culture of India’s Irula tribe. It also brings to light their vulnerability and how they easily get trapped into the system of bonded labour and other social evils. the film brings these out through the journey of a newly married couple and the hardships and atrocities that they face because of a brick kiln owner under whom the man works.

A female poet who lives alone finds human contact in an unexpected way.
