Dollybirds is a comedy musical set in the Eastern Bloc during the communist era. It follows the hilarious story of a singing group who faces disqualification from a music competition, sparking a riot in the nearby streets. The group, led by a sexy woman, uses satire to criticize the police and communism. Along the way, they navigate themes of friendship, love, and freedom.

Living on the farms of Homoktanya, Józsi spends his time drinking and stealing valuables from others until he finds true love in the form of a blow-up doll.

One morning two men set off walking along the tram lines. They have no destination, but this could well mark the beginning of a new journey.
