Set in a near-future Greece suffering from water scarcity, an immigrant caretaker is left alone in an isolated house. As the blazing sun and hostility of the environment takes its toll, he experiences psychological disintegration and increasing paranoia. The film explores themes of isolation, alienation, and the psychological effects of a hostile environment.

An empty park in Paris. The sky is low and dense, the trees are naked. A young and nervous woman waits for her lover. The liitle gril with her plays in silence. The man arrives. The little girl decides to explore the park.

At black night in a port of the Mediterranean Sea. For his last evening of permission, Éric, legionary, lets himself be entailed into a costume party.

The end of summer. A young couple goes down to an isolated beach. As Thomas goes for a swim, Anna, sitting on the beach, suddenly loses sight of him. When Thomas finally comes out of water, something has changed.
