The documentary Merikotkan paluu (Return of the white-tailed eagle), tells the tale of the past and the present of the white-tailed eagle. The second protagonist of the film is the human - the animal that can be blamed for the eagles’ distress but also credited for its rescue.

The film about the year of the Cranes and the migration journey expands to a story about the coexistence of man in a rapidly changing world.

At the same time, under the surface, the medusa - a species dating back 500 million years is undergoing a transformation that takes six months.
