Controversial film about the ill-effects of the dowry system in India

When Thakur Baldev Singh gets blinded by notorious bandit Gabbar Singh, he seeks the assistance of two former convicts, Jay and Veeru, to bring Gabbar before him so that he can mete out justice in his own way. This was the plot of the original 1975 classic, in this one too Baldev does seek the assistance of Veeru and Jay, but they come together with three other friends, namely Balli, Tara Singh, and Mithun (look-alikes of Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Deol, and Mithun Chakraborty respectively). Also seeking vengeance for her rape is Lajwanti, alias Daku Chutiya, who was raped by Gabbar. Lajwanti is none other than Basanti's sister, who dances in Chandni Bar. Gabbar is assisted by various bandits, including the Singh brothers: Jangal, Mangal, and Dangal, all escaped convicts. The Duplicates are also assisted by Shahenshah, and an Anil Kapoor look-alike. Watch the fun and frolic unfold as the Duplicates team up to fight the invincible Gabbar Singh.

Shaitan (Joginder) needs to sacrifice seven young women so that he can attain immortality. He stumbles upon a man (Kamal Hassan), who had been worshiping Satan himself for many-many years. The man has grown old and also wishes to stay young forever. Baba puts an evil spirit in Shabnam body and Shabnam kills a village man in the Jungle. When Thakur Mahendra Pratap comes to know about this from his brother Vijay, he takes job of finding that evil. He goes in Jungle and finds Shabnam and brings her to the village and villagers hang her till death. But after sometime Baba comes there and takes Shabnam's body while Karishma and Vijay are going through Jungle. Baba arrests Vijay and by his Kali Shakti he puts Shabnam's soul in Karishma's body by which she kills her mother. Thakur sends Sonam to Mama. Day-by-day villagers find dead bodies in the village and Gullu suspects Karishma. After some years Sonam comes to haveli with Rahul and her mama and at the same time a doctor is murdered by Karishma. Another day Gullu was also killed. Rahul suspect on Baba and they follow Baba. Baba traps them and there they come to know Vijay is alive.

Widower Sultan Singh lives a poor lifestyle in a village in central India along with his son, Karma and daughter, Devi. Ranga abducts a young lad, names him Ranga, and trains him to be a bandit. After Ranga passes away, the younger Ranga, mesmerized by the evil Ginnibai, takes over. Ranga abducts Devi, forces her to marry him to sire children who he will train to become Rangas of the future, as well as look after several abducted young children who he also plans to train and turn them also into future Rangas - and there is no mortal on Earth who can stop him.
