In a restorative justice centre, Bérénice (Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin) accompanies people who are victims of crime or who have committed it to promote dialogue among themselves and the reparation of the harm caused. Its objective: to help these deeply wounded people turn a traumatic page in their history to better enjoy their present and their future.

Les Intrépides, is a France-Quebec TV series for children, released between 1993 and 1996, that ran for 52 episodes. The series is about adventures of two kids; Julie Boileau and Tom Miller, whose parents got married and that made them step-siblings. In the 1950s, young boys were placed in orphanages and endure harsh and austere living conditions. While their future as orphans was already precarious, they become prisoners of an asylum system from which they have little hope of being able to free themselves even as they grow older.

Fleeing from some other children who want to beat him, Olivier meets the ghost of a Pirate who every hundred years tries to find a parchment. Olivier agrees to help him. But in doing so he is captured by a bunch of pirates. The other children of the village discover a door thru time and space in an old haunted house and decide to rescue Olivier from Captain Monbars' pirates.
