The Sanremo Music Festival is the most popular Italian song contest and awards, held annually in the town of Sanremo, Imperia, Italy, and consisting of a competition amongst previously unreleased songs. The Festival was the inspiration for the Eurovision Song Contest.
X Factor is the Italian version of the British musical talent show The X Factor. The first four seasons aired on Rai 2, but since 2011 it has been broadcast on Sky Uno, with reruns on TV8, after Rai dropped the show due to high costs. Sky Italia acquired the format, extending its broadcast until 2024. Starting from the eleventh season, RTL 102.5 became the official radio station, replacing Radio Deejay and Radio 105. The show was hosted by Francesco Facchinetti (2008-2010), Alessandro Cattelan (2011-2020), Ludovico Tersigni (2021), and Francesca Michielin (2022-2023). From 2024 onwards, Giorgia will take over as host. Since the seventh season, the show has been produced by Fremantle Italia without the collaboration of Magnolia, which had produced the selection episodes in the early seasons.

Il Volo - Tutti per uno is an Italian television program of musical genre, a concert broadcast in prime time on Canale 5, created by the trio Il Volo. The second edition of Il Volo - Tutti per uno was broadcast on three evenings recorded from 9 to 13 May and broadcast from 14th to 28th of May 2024, and represents movie version of concerts held at the Verona Arena, marking the group's fifteenth anniversary. The evenings are characterized by the performance of the trio (including individual performances) and by the presence of guests who sometimes duet with the members of Il Volo. The second edition of the concerts was hosted by Il Volo and a different presenter for each night of the concert: Giorgia (first evening), Federica Panicucci (second evening) and Eleonora Abbagnato (third evening). The guest for the first concert include: Giorgia, Claudio Baglioni, Francesco De Gregori, Alessandra Amoroso, Roberto Vecchioni, Gaetano Curreri, Mara Sattei, Giorgio Panariello.
Pavarotti & Friends was a series of benefit concerts hosted by Italian operatic tenor Luciano Pavarotti between 1992 and 2003 in his home town of Modena, Italy. Proceeds from the events were donated to humanitarian causes including the international aid agency War Child and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Pavarotti & Friends 2 took place on September 13, 1994, and featured guest performances by Bryan Adams, Andreas Vollenweider, Nancy Gustafson, Giorgia and Andrea Bocelli.
