Chicuarotes is a coming-of-age drama that follows two teenage friends living in Mexico City. Tired of their impoverished lives, they decide to take matters into their own hands and become involved in petty crimes. As they descend deeper into a world of crime and violence, their friendship and lives are put to the test. With themes of desperation, loyalty, and the consequences of their actions, Chicuarotes explores the harsh realities faced by young people in Mexico City.

Pipo, Pau and Mau, three youngsters who spend their time shooting video pranks, visit a distant town where a beast is attacking its residents. Upon arrival, the pranksters will discover that the beast is very different than they thought.
