As the orcs invade Azeroth through a magic portal, a group of humans and dissenting orcs must join forces to uncover the true evil behind the war. The orcs, led by the powerful warlock Gul'Dan, use Fel magic to drain life from captives. Durotan, a chieftain of the Frostwolf Clan, and his allies attempt to resist Gul'Dan's plans. Meanwhile, Anduin Lothar, the commander of the human forces, and Khadgar, a mage, investigate the presence of Fel magic. They discover that Medivh, the Guardian of Tirisfal, may have been involved in opening the portal. With the help of Garona, a half-orc slave, and the Frostwolf Clan, the humans plan an alliance to defeat Gul'Dan. However, Medivh's corruption by Fel magic and the Horde's attack on the Alliance complicate their efforts. In the end, the humans and orcs must battle for control of Azeroth.

Rogue is designed to be immune to almost all known toxins, can submerge in strong acid unaffected, and is able to withstand a vacuum on his bare skin.
