In Man Facing Southeast, a man named Rantes mysteriously appears at a psychiatric hospital in Argentina. He insists that he is an extraterrestrial and possesses telekinetic abilities. As he interacts with the staff and patients, including a psychiatrist named Dr. Denis, Rantes challenges their beliefs and raises questions about the nature of sanity and the existence of an alien presence on Earth.
